Kaora has sourced its key ingredient suppliers in Brazil with care and responsibility, only engaging with those that have demonstrated social and environment responsibility, and in particular, a focus and respect for the Amazon rainforest and local communities.

We are fortunate to have secured top quality, conservation focused suppliers, which in some cases, are B Corp certified companies (www.bcorporation.net). In order to be certified as a B Corporation, these businesses  have to "meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy."

Based in the heart of the Amazon, our main suppliers obtain their products through a local agricultural cooperative which has around 200 members. These members are the local families that harvest renewable non-timber forest products from the Amazon rainforest and turn them into unique ingredients for the food, supplement, beverage and cosmetics industries. The cooperative also manages an industrial fruit processing unit with an installed capacity of 800 kg per day.
